Roasted Garlic and Caramelized Onion Mashed Potatoes



Gather potatoes (such as Yukon Gold or Russet), garlic cloves, yellow onions, butter, milk (or cream), salt, and pepper.

Roast Garlic

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Wrap whole garlic cloves in foil, drizzle with olive oil, and roast for 30-40 minutes until soft and golden.

Caramelize Onions

Thinly slice onions and cook over medium-low heat with butter until golden brown and caramelized, about 30-40 minutes.

Prepare Potatoes
