Collect fresh strawberries, a pre-baked pie crust, sugar, cornstarch, water, and strawberry-flavored gelatin (Jell-O).
If using a store-bought crust, follow package instructions to pre-bake it until golden brown and let it cool completely.
Wash the strawberries thoroughly, remove the stems, and slice them into uniform pieces.
In a saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch, water, and a portion of the strawberry gelatin. Cook over medium heat until thickened and bubbly.
Remove the gelatin mixture from heat and gently fold in the sliced strawberries until well coated.
Pour the strawberry filling into the cooled pie crust, spreading it evenly.
Refrigerate the pie for at least 2 hours to allow the gelatin to set and the flavors to meld.
